I Am Perfectly Sane.

Really.

yet another strange dream

  • Nov. 15th, 2009 at 1:08 PM

okay i forgot most of it already but it went something like this...

i was in a place i couldn't identify, but it looked like a typical hollywood studio.

then i heard a voice. i didn't know who it was from. it was like surround sound; i can hear it from everywhere.
"MWAHAHA, ALL OF YOU WILL NOT LIVE TO SEE THE NEXT HUANGCHENGYEYUN!!!!"
(result of a 4-hour 技术课)

then panic everywhere.

then i ran out of the studio at lightning speed and dodged all the fireball attacks by the evil thing that i still don't know.

and before i know it, i was on a quest to retrieve big purple onions and a free garnier lotion sample nestled in the lair of other evil things.
a kid tried to steal my big purple onion from me but yuanhan (i have no idea how she got into my dream) disguised a tennis ball into an onion and tricked her, so i managed to get my big purple onion.
then i went into another studio to get my free garnier sample. the journey was arduous and filled with danger. but i acquired imba fighting skills and punched/kicked/judo-ed my way through and finally got out safe and sound.

then i went back to our base which was victoria theatre's stage and handed a part of the free sample over to a random person that i suppose was one of the good guys.i don't know how i knew but somehow the sunblock lotion is lethal to the evil thing's minions so i told him to make lotion bombs from it, even though the sample was only about, well, sample size.

as i walked across the stage i could see primary school kids wearing my old primary school's uniform setting up barricades. (child labour, haha.)

i went to make some concoction out of the other part of the sample and my big purple onion.

and before i know it again, i was facing the evil thing. it looked like a dragon. a really big dragon.
it was coming through a really small portal-like door thing.
so i set my concoction near it and tried to hold off the evil thing's attacks as the concoction got to work on closing the portal. (i had no idea purple onions and free samples were so powerful)

the evil thing was fast and big and frightening.but my powerful skills allowed me to dance over his attacks.
but i got really tired and sweaty.
the thing nearly got me when the portal closed and chopped the beast into half. only its head and neck remained on our world.
then suddenly i noticed another smaller dragon nearby and the evil thing exclaimed "I'LL GET YOU!!!!!!" and started hopping around on his bloody neck trying to chew up the smaller dragon.

then we ignored the evil thing and went for lunch at the canteen. (no idea when that appeared too.)

the end.

i'm starting to think that it's my problem instead of the other way around.

i'm intolerant of being neglected/ignored/etcetc., but yet i can't seem to find common topics between us anymore.

what a joke.

in any case, i'll just have to see how it goes.

today was ----- like that i guess.
nothing spectacular happened. it was pretty much okay.
watched a couple of dbsk videos on youtube, got really intrigued about this yunjae affair that i believe happened quite a while ago.i'm not quite sure what's going on between the two of them but they looked really sweet together.
then watched more videos of junsu getting bullied. you gotta admit, he is pretty cute.like a little boy? something like that.
then watched uverworld's not-so-new single mv.takuya's eyebrows just seems to get thinner and thinner with every new mv.i wonder if he's experiencing a receding brow-line.but in any case the song was still quite nice.it's a pity many people go for looks and tend to neglect this band; i really think they have something going on there.and i don't care if people thinks i'm a noob/has bad taste, i just like...what i like. (okay this is a really bad attempt at trying to be cheem.)

and so this nearly ends my day; i shall go have my dinner and watch PCK at 8.30pm later, before coming back to play neopets! (haha, ya i'm a noob so what.)

i'm just not cut out for piano okay?

stop forcing me to do what i can't; i'm going to start hating it sooner or later.

in fact i think i hate it already.

friday evenings feel like crap.

phooey.

completely random: happy as an owl.

zen.

  • Nov. 5th, 2009 at 4:28 PM

that pretty much describes my day.

Zen.

everything from principal's dialogue to CT session was really peaceful and "serene", as Mr. Y would put it.

there was only a momentary un-zen when i played stress with juliying who were throwing my uno cards all over the place (i know they're old but please don't abuse them.) and screaming every time i say stress.

but it all went back to normal again when i played with emma.ultimate-zen.i could only hear the slamming of our hands and the shuffling of cards.A level exams also noisier than us.

then i went to orchard with zen people aka emma and adeline.
ate lunch in a very zen and peaceful manner,
then wondered around ion/wisma/ngeeanncity aimlessly.
kena-ed 2 surveys along the way; something about bookshops and tissue papers.
i bet the surveyor probably thinks i'm super swakoo now, never go kinokuniya/borders before.
having sympathy for a deprived child like me, my zen companions brought me to kino.
very interesting place. i would have hung around longer but emma had to go for cca. :\

oh. now i remember why we were wondering aimlessly; we were trying to find dessert.
but we ended up eating some rubbish almond jelly thing that had such little portions.
oh but we saw guen and the others there too.
hahaha.
ben should have been mr. greedy.

that's all and goodbye.

i'm so bored you can give me bio o photosynthesis notes and i'll read it with pleasure.and even memorise it if i have the brain power to do so.

just kidding.

anyway,

saw 4 korean kids around the neighbourhood as i was walking home today.
they were from my primary school.hehe.
one of them even looks a bit like junsu (not the country bumpkin), just without the airy-fairy voice.
pity that they've been homogenised already; they talked like a bunch of ah bengs who're trying to learn to speak t____ (just in case so i won't be labelled as a racist; i'm kinda paranoid)

that was the most interesting thing to happen to me today.

now i shall go and practise smiling and speaking for tomorrow's OP rehearsal.

a romantic date gone wrong

  • Nov. 1st, 2009 at 12:38 PM

with sherlene and 3 other unfortunate birthday surprisers that is.

yesterday was supposed to comprise of a romantic picnic at ulu ulu upper seletar reservoir on a green and lush pasture, and a thrilling and exciting experience at night safari.

as hard as we tried, nothing happened the way we wanted it to.

it first started with no one bringing a picnic mat.fine with that, we settled for two benches.
never mind that they were bug infested and ants were crawling all over us trying to consume us, sherlene arrived earlier than we expected and we still haven't finish the present.
hence we performed a A & E style surgery on the brain, arms and butt(-er).
brains and guts were flying everywhere like snow, and an old couple watched us from the distance with amusement.
he ended up with a flabby stomach nowhere near 6-pack, flimsy arms ready to break off, and bits of brain (otherwise known as cotton) still oozing out from where we patched him up.

well, i shall take comfort in the fact that we still managed to achieve the effect we wanted.

after the crisis, we were about to finallly settle down and eat on the two pathetic benches when dark clouds loomed over us.
so we headed back to the bus stop that essentially consists of the sign post and a pathetic shelter that does nothing to shelter us except to look green and pretty.
we decided to finish the bbq chicken that emma bought before it turns disgusting.
then it started to rain.
heavily.
to add to our woes, no one except birthday girl brought an umbrella.
so we compressed ourselves and huddled under the small foldable umbrella, each holding a chicken bone.
in summary, we looked like 5 homeless kids (holding chicken bones).

thankfully, the bus came shortly after.
it nearly didn't stop, but it's kinda hard to not notice that very densely populated spot under the non-existent shelter of the bus stop.
we went up screaming and exclaiming in relief.
50 other people looked back at us in amusement (again).
but i wasn't particularly bothered; i'm just glad to get back to civilisation again.

we reached night safari uneventfully (thank god), but juliying owes me a dare now.hehe.
due to the rain, train of terror was suspended.boohoo.
seeing that there's no space to sit anywhere, we replayed the scene at the bus stop (only without the umbrella and a real shelter) outside bongo burger.
cake, chicken wings, sandwiches that taste of papaya and snogging mice for dinner.

as we tried to make our way through the crowd to the washroom, a random guy all dressed up for halloween boo-ed emma.
we laughed sadistically as she screamed and started to tear from the fright.
then we went into the glow-in-the-dark room and stared in awe at our glowing shirts.
we were trying to take a picture of ourselves when another random guy all dressed up for halloween poked his head into our picture.
luckily our picture wasn't successful, otherwise we'd have freaked out after seeing it.

then we went to queue up for the tram ride starting at ulu ulu restaurant.
halfway through the queue, another random guy scared me and zona from the back.he wasn't even dressed up.oh well, i guess it's retribution.
but why are we always the victims???????
maybe it's 'cos we just looked like 5 innocent little children. aww.

the tram ride was uneventful; saw many cute deers and bambis.
but i conclude i have poor night vision.

then we queued up for the second time as train of terror was reopened when we came back.
zona spotted a cute guy in front of us with nice hair and awesome side profile.
sadly, he didn't look as promising from the front.
then she spottted another guy who has rather disgusting sideburns but insists is cute.
the strange thing is, they were all non-singaporean chinese.
first it was nicholas, then clb, and now this. she sure has some unique taste.

then we finally boarded.
the train of terror was essentially same as the normal tram ride, but with the scary part in the middle.
actually it wasn't really that scary; it was more 'cos of the anticipation of something jumping out from behind the bushes and not so much the monsters/ghosts/whatever they were. pity that the left side didn't have so much action as the right.
but considering that we only paid $3 more for this part, i can't really complain.
and i have to admit, the props and decorations were awesomely gruesome and disgusting.but they could have made better use of it, i expected things to jump out at us half the time but there wasn't anything.
amusingly, the row behind us which consists of people older than us were more freaked out.
but i guess they have a reason to do so as the ghosts kept baording the tram at their row and molesting them.a poor guy exclaimed in horror "它摸我!" after a ghost finally got off the tram.
i also learnt that zona has very deadly claws fingernails. she practically dug them into my skin when we were holding hands and when i went home, i could see the fingernail marks on them and a small scar.would have put pictures as evidence if i could but unfortunately my phone had an emotional breakdown and refuses to connect to the computer after yesterday.

then we took a bus and went home.

and that concludes our exciting halloween.
and since it's still 31 october in neopian time,

HAPPHALLOWEEN EVERYONE!!!!

 trick-or-treat, here's a pumpkin for you!

whatever.

  • Oct. 27th, 2009 at 6:35 PM

contrary to yinhwee, life sucks now.

it's as if promos never happened.
i thought i would at least be slightly freer now to do the things i want to do, but no, there's PW and cca.
even if there were long 2 hour breaks, i feel pressurized to do PW or suffer a B grade that would be like end of the world, the way PW tutors put it.
i understand the importance of it being an A level subject and all that, but some personal time would be nice.
and for cca, you just sit there and listen to people talk and generally rot your life away there.(no offence, but 4 hours is ridiculous)

on closer observation, i don't think i've ever had more than 5 free weekends this year; where 2 are made up from after promos.

crap, i think i'm getting whiny.this sucks--tothemax.

well best get back to that OP.

hello,weenie

  • Oct. 25th, 2009 at 6:45 PM

is it me or have i not posted for a really long time?

pw is getting really tiresome and mentally draining now, especially when we're working on OP now, which requires me to gear up my creative juices (if any) that i haven't been using for a while (or forever).
to be honest, i'll rather do another WR, 'cos it's pretty repetitive and hardly requires any thinking at all.
oh well. i can't really complain since i'll much rather do this any day than another promos.

on another note,
halloween is coming!
there really isn't anything to get hyped up over since we don't exactly celebrate halloween here, but it'd be cool if we can someday dress up as monsters/witches/ghosts/demons/zombies/sherlene and scare the living daylights(or nightlights rather) of someone if they foolishly choose not to give us candies and chocolates to save on the money.
heck, carving a jack-o'-lantern and using the dug out insides to bake pumpkin pie would be interesting too.
streets filled with miniature werewolves and fairy godmothers is a rather interesting thought.

am i rambling?
i think i am.
i need a life.(beyond PW and cca)

mental block

  • Oct. 21st, 2009 at 9:11 PM

...

my face for most of PW lesson today.

no-lifer

  • Oct. 18th, 2009 at 11:05 PM

i guess we just don't hang out anymore huh?

yeah whatever.

****

on another note,

i think i'm turning into a pig.
such a cute lil' thing.found it while looking through my files today.hmm.

here's the weekend's diet:

saturday
breakfast - NIL (you might think this is good but wait till you see the rest of the day)
lunch - 咸蛋 + 皮蛋 porridge
binging goodies high tea - daim chocolate butter almond sweet (5X) + jagabee
dinner - mee hoon kuey + something fatty that my brain selectively rejected to keep as memory
dessert - my mum's bitter-but-otherwise-tasteless crysanthemum tea + chocolate waffle

sunday
breakfast - 生面 + bak chor + towgay + too much light soya sauce
after-meal stuff to fill my stomach that wasn't really full after breakfast - instant mashed potato
lunch - 1.5 rolls of popiah and more than half the 油条 and tau pok in my mum's rojak + chocolate milk + daim chocolate butter almond sweet (2X)
dinner - homemade chicken rice with rather tasteless but nonetheless 香 rice and nearly oiless chicken + 咸菜 and tofu and tomato soup + 炒towgay and 豆干
dessert - canned longan and pineapple

that's what you get when no one is free to hang out with you and all you can do is mope around at home like an anti-social person and stuff yourself 'cos you have nothing better to do.it doesn't help that your mum always manages to concoct something to shut you up.
but lucky for me, due to the unusual and unhealthy menu i've consumed over these two days, my intestines complained with quite a racket in there.so everything went out and my bowels are cleared and i feel so much better.

just that i'm feeling kinda hungry now.

hmm.

hmm?

  • Oct. 15th, 2009 at 7:31 PM

today was...annoying, to say the least.

oh well.i couldn't care less about what was said, but the way every request was pushed aside in a beat-around-the-bush way just irks me.

on another note, today was a really boring day.so boring that i said PW was boring right under ms W's nose.

hmm. It's You instrumental is really good. whoever did it is really pro.whoo.

what a boring post.

sigh.

lazy

  • Oct. 13th, 2009 at 10:24 PM

i'm so lazy recently i can't even be bothered to write about the movie marathon even though it was loads of fun and there were loads of stuff i wanted to say about it.

so to make up for it,

movie marathon was:
1) fun
2) once-in-a-lifetime experience
3) very interesting

lessons learnt:
1) 3 minutes 20 seconds on sherlene's microwave oven is just nice for self-popped popcorn.
2) don't think that spreading out the seeds evenly helps pop most of the corn; it doesn't.
3) when popping manually, don't add butter/margarine/oil to the frying pan; it quite literally fries the seeds instead of popping.
4) leave at least a 0.5m gap between yourself and a certain girl who likes something that goes with jello to protect against her swinghammer-like arms of death and your sanity from her hysterical laughter.do this especially when there is no sofa/other big physical objects nearby for her arms to land on.
5) unripe peaches are crunchy and have an...interesting taste.
6) sherlene's father is nice.

day-one sabbaticals was:
1) so-so
2) embarrassing
3) awkward
4) sleep-inducing
5) lots of aches (especially headache)

hmm. i guess that's about it.

sleepy and tired now.
and sitong reminded me of I & R and bio practical that we still have to do.

out of my mind.

  • Oct. 11th, 2009 at 11:49 PM

bored, that is.

i thought post-promos would be somewhat more exciting than pre-promos?
but it just feels kinda the same, minus the extra stress.
no one wants to watch meatballs with me.
my NDS and computer got overtaken by my cousins today, so i had absolutely no entertainment today, boohoo.
i didn't even manage to buy my new table 'cos there was no stock.

i shall take comfort in the fact that i managed to buy the butter almond chocolate sweet from ikea.
and i forgot to buy a packet for the violent kia.
oops.

and now i shall continue to ponder about tomorrow's activities.

PS: why are some people just so last-minute? it gets quite irritating when everything is planned already and they ruin it by just that sms.
PPS: alice in wonderland looks really interesting.

welllllll.....

  • Oct. 9th, 2009 at 10:41 PM

i guess promos are over.

much to my surprise, i don't feel any particular sense of excitement, happiness or elation.

i guess it kinda got cancelled out by my dread of piano lessons.

on the way home from piano today, i suddenly realised something.

i don't like piano but i have to go so i don't waste money. (but frankly i think more money will be wasted if i continue to go.)
i can't go ice skating 'cos i have no money.
i can't go ktv 'cos i have no money.
i can't afford a pathetic scoop of ice cream 'cos i have no money.

why does everything revolve around money??
honestly, sometimes i just wish currency was never invented and we'll live in the age of barter trade.
then again, then i won't get change if i pay for an ice cream cone with my mum's silver necklace.

okay that was random 'cos i'm really sleepy now.

bye.

the end is near.

  • Oct. 8th, 2009 at 3:27 PM

and so will my grades relative to the floor, ie. low.
gp was .
econs was
chem was
math was .
while some people may think my grades won't be as bad compared to some others, but well, i had some expectations that i wish i could reach, especially in math.

oh well.

i must be stupid to think that math can save me.
mr. L will be so sad; students never do well, chiobu teacher doesn't even notice his existence.aww.
though i hope he'll still be our teacher next year. in fact, i hope most all of our teachers will follow us up.

it'd probably be my worst subject next to chemistry, econs and well, everything else.

but at least we're finally seeing the end of this dark and torturous week. can't say i'm not looking forward to it.
my cousin's wedding (the other one; it's a church wedding!maybe i'll get to play with the confetti.), shopping with my mum, ocip proposal, and sabbaticals (hiphop.HAHA.). so many many things to look forward to.

but for now, i'll have to get back to bio.
LAST PAPER.

midway

  • Oct. 7th, 2009 at 4:43 PM

c'mon c'mon, just two more days!

please don't screw up your math; that's probably the only thing you'll have a chance at doing well in.

now go revise and spam your green colour book!!!!!!!!!!!!!

lost in translation

  • Oct. 2nd, 2009 at 2:25 PM

hi i'm just posting for the sake of posting 'cos i'm really bored and sick of reading my bio notes and trying to memorise them when i know that i won't retain even half of it.

and my brother's keyboard has a nice tapping and comfortable tapping sound everytime i press a key.
makes it sound like i'm typing really fast.

bye.
